WAYNE -- Three juveniles suspected of a home burglary were arrested and could be responsible for other break-ins in the township, police said Sunday.
On Saturday night, police received a call from a Glen Road resident who pulled up to her house and saw a suspicious red Jeep leaving and two people fleeing on foot, said Lt. Lawrence Martin.
Police found the Jeep, with burglary tools inside, parked in front of a nursing home on Terhune Drive, Martin said. With the assistance of the canine unit, police located three juveniles, who were arrested and charged with burglary, Martin said.
Police believe the three may be connected to several April 9 burglaries. Global positioning systems, iPods, digital cameras, wallets and purses and other items were stolen from several cars and two houses on streets that run off Alps Road.
