The Paranormal Investigators of North Georgia don't dress in uniform, fire proton guns or battle... Who you gonna call?...
It's tough sometimes, and always time-consuming, but in the end, when they have found something to make their skin crawl and their minds reel, it's worth it.
PING members met outside Pearce Auditorium at 9 p.m. Oct. 20, each toting massive orange bundles of cable and suitcases full of digital electronic devices.
Pearce Auditorium has an infamous history of ghost rumors. The theater's purported resident ghost, Agnes, supposedly a former student of the Gainesville school, has horrified campus residents for years.
Brown, Baker and Mullins crisscrossed paths, scouring the ancient attic above the auditorium, the site known for sightings of the student ghost.
Propst said his tune changed when Baker showed him a picture of an orb, or glowing sphere, outside the auditorium. Many believers in the paranormal consider an orb to be a physical manifestation of energy, indicating a ghost.
Results were inconclusive at the Pearce investigation, they said. They got a few strange things on video: black mist rising, bending objects, but no screaming apparitions.
